President's Message
As I look back on 2020, I reflect on how our lives have changed. The pandemic brought changes to our daily lives, family time, and the way we work.
I choose to remember 2020 as a year ofagility and flexibility. As an organization, we learned to adjust to challenges. Despite the challenges, there are many things to be grateful for.
First and foremost, I would like to note that our success would not have been possible without the dedication of our ICF WI executive committee and members involved in our committees.
As an illustration of our past year’s success, here are a few activities to highlight:
- Community - Our chapter membership grew by 17% and the membership committee created opportunities for new members to network via bimonthly virtual coaches network
- Competency development - The education and development committee expanded core competency and resource development options to include demo coaching, triad coaching, book club special interest group offerings.
- Connection - Outreach is creating opportunities to connect members with organizations that offer pro bono coaching. Marketing has informed members through newsletter and social media messages with the activities and opportunities for members to connect to the community.
- Collaboration - Education and development offered special interest group business collaborations between members. Members collaborated to offer training to other members.
So as the calendar page turns to a new year, let me say thank you. It has been a great honor for me to lead ICF Wisconsin and I look forward to a successful year ahead with continued efforts to promote community, connection collaboration, and competency.
Let us all march into 2021 with pride in what we have accomplished and the drive to make the next year even more amazing as we advance our vision to be the premier learning and networking organization for professional coaches in Wisconsin.
