ICF Wisconsin exists to elevate the coaching profession across our state by cultivating community, strengthening professional standards, and expanding the impact of coaching in organizations and communities. This strategic plan outlines how we steward our resources, our members, our partnerships, and our collective voices as we advance coaching excellence in Wisconsin.

How We Work
ICF Wisconsin operates through a committee-driven structure that empowers shared leadership, collaboration, and accountability. Each strategic pillar and objective is supported by a dedicated committee and guided by a chairperson who oversees planning, execution, and alignment with chapter priorities. This structure ensures continuity, distributes leadership, and creates meaningful opportunities for member involvement.
Our committees include:
Membership — Partners with and supports new and existing members throughout the full member lifecycle, fostering community and engagement.
Partnership — Builds relationships with Wisconsin businesses and organizations to expand awareness and access to coaching.
Professional Development — Designs and delivers programming for learning and growth, led by credentialed coaches or those pursuing credentialing.
Marketing & Communications — Develops and implements marketing, communications, sponsorship, and social media strategies that support our vision.
Governance — Ensures alignment with ICF Global through processes and procedures that sustain the chapter.
Credentialing Support Team — Brings clarity and efficiency to the credentialing process for ICF members.
Finance — Provides financial stewardship that ensures long-term sustainability and transparency through responsible budgeting and record keeping.
Special Projects — Brings creativity, innovation, and responsiveness in service of member needs and emerging opportunities.
Together, these committees form the backbone of our chapter’s work, enabling us to lead with clarity, collaboration, and compassion while advancing coaching excellence across Wisconsin.
ICF Wisconsin was chartered in January 2002.
