Biography
Jen leverages a broad background of experiences in various functions and industries, including product development (PD), engineering, operations, business operations, supply chain and intellectual property (IP) in construction, consumer products and aerospace. After working for Fluor and Kimberly-Clark (KC) for ~10 years, she joined Boeing ~20 years ago as a design and manufacturing first line leader for overhead compartments. Having worked in IP at KC, she joined Boeing Intellectual Property where she managed an enterprise team that determined which inventions to file patents on and set the IP strategy for BCA. Having led a manufacturing operation at KC, she joined 787 Final Assembly as Superintendent responsible for the initial delivery airplanes. Next, she moved to Business Operations in the Propulsion Systems Division and then back to 787, Tanker and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS). In EHS, she led the design and build of the Everett Site Safety DOJO and led an organizational change initiative to consolidate the department under a single VP. Once completed, she served as a full-time skill team captain for 860 employees until that position was eliminated and she joined SPEEA as a Senior Project Engineer in Design for EHS. Having worked in PD at KC, she pivoted into Boeing Commercial Airplanes PD where she managed a portfolio of research projects with HRL, Japan and South Korea for nine years until she transitioned to serving on the 737MAX Program as a Program Integration Manager on the Airplane Level Integration Team working certification projects, a role she’s had since 2025.
Jen holds a BS in Civil/Construction Engineering and Juris Doctor degrees from Purdue University and a Masters Degree in Project Management from Keller. She is a licensed US Patent Agent and Wisconsin (WI) Registered Professional Engineer. She has two adult daughters and an adult stepson. She enjoys teaching yoga, having been certified since 2023, and running her Airbnb on Lake Roesiger, WA. She’s an 80’s music lover and goes on trips to listen to bands and escape the cold. Outside of Boeing she teaches leadership, sells India-based patent analytics, and coaches. Her life motto is to “have a passion for learning and a heart-felt desire to serve."
As an International Coaching Federation Associated Certified Coach, Jen sees her role to hold up a gentle mirror to her clients and offer, when requested, mentoring advice honed over 30 years in large engineering and manufacturing corporations. Due to her broad background in industry she is an excellent coach to executives and women working in male-dominated work environments. She also loves making networking connections for her clients.
