After dedicating many fulfilling years to corporate recruiting, I reunited with my true purpose: helping individuals secure careers that energize them. With nearly three decades of shaping hiring processes, interviewing countless candidates, and negotiating thousands of offers, I have gained valuable expertise in what it takes to get considered, excel in interviews, and achieve your career goals.
In 2022, I was working as an executive recruiter at a Big Four firm where I had been for 17 years. I felt a nagging sense of misalignment with my level and career goals, prompting me to undergo critical self-reflection and ultimately embark on a search to find better alignment with my values and career objectives.
Despite securing a higher-level role and pay increase at a new organization, I was laid off nine months later. This experience gave me a deep empathy for job seekers and a "mile in your shoes" perspective.
Initially, I planned to become an independent recruiter. However, after six months, I gained further clarity on what truly energized me, and realized this path was missing the mark. My greatest day-to-day enjoyment came from helping my ex-colleagues who were struggling in their own careers. I quickly recognized a huge need for improved tools and advice that are currently severely lacking in the market.
Although my path has shifted, one thing has remained steadfast over the course of my career; my goal of helping others transition into roles that energize them. When I help individuals align their personal values with their professional goals and witness them thrive and flourish, it feeds my soul.
