In my career as a software developer, it felt safer for me to disconnect from my heart space at work. Which was unfortunate, because my true ability to lead and influence comes from my willingness to listen, care about others and connect with people. And, that comes from my heart.
I didn’t learn how to fully tap into this superpower until I participated in an executive coach training program in 2017. This began my transformation from someone who spent his entire career relying on knowledge, intellect and logic to becoming a passionate executive coach capable of tapping into all three wisdom sources: my head, my heart and my intuition.
Today, I’m a firm believer in the transformational power of addressing conflict using insights from all three.
